There’s still time to participate in Profile in Diversity Journal’s 11th Annual Innovation Awards! We’re excited to once again honor organizations that are coming up with new ways to meet the challenges of an evolving workforce and share “what’s being tried out there” with our readers in order to encourage continued exploration.
Over the years, companies have submitted innovations tackling virtually every diversity issue—from recruitment and retention strategies to training and development programs, and from women’s initiatives to ERGs and mentoring programs. Organizations will be recognized at three levels: Honorable Mention, Award of Excellence, and our Top Ten; last year, first place went to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for its work in developing programs to reach specific candidate pools—which for them were Hispanic and Native American youth.
Submissions go through a team review process to determine the top contenders. This year, organizations with innovations ranked in the top 10 will be asked to provide further information via telephone interview. Once we determine a winner, we’ll write feature story about the winning program or initiative. We only require that the innovation your organization submits for consideration must have been launched within the past five years and yielded measurable results.
AWARD WINNERS RECEIVE:
- Publication of your accomplishment. You’ll garner the recognition you and your innovation deserve as part of a special feature in the 2014 July/August Issue of Profiles in Diversity Journal.
- Additional media outreach. We’ll promote award winners via press releases and social media to help give your achievement even greater reach across the business community.
- Online content and links. Winners, and their accomplishments, will be highlighted on the Profiles in Diversity Journal website, including links to their websites.
- Year-round recognition. A special “Innovations in Diversity Awards” logo will be provided for use in all your internal and external communications.
Deadline for participation is approaching. For complete information and rules regarding the submission process, contact Kathie Sandlin, Editor, at [email protected], or call 440-892-0444
